John Lange has "been around the block," and his songs reflect that experience. Most currently, he has been a part of Sawdust Road, a Houston, Texas band that has gained substantial notoriety. That includes awards from the CMA of Texas for 2019 Americana Band of the Year, and, from Nashville, the Josie Music Award for 2016 Modern Country Album of the Year. They have received extensive international airplay, and charted on stations in places as diverse as Nashville, London, France, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia. Previously, John was in the band Safety in Numbers from Dallas, Texas, which received considerable record label interest after performing on the national TV show Star Search. Frozen Fire was John's second solo album release, and is a major progression from his first album, What's Your Story. With John's 3rd album "Ways and Means," John has zeroed in on his strengths, and showcases his unique sense of melody, alongside his captivating guitar phrases. John's latest single is "God Is in Control," an honest and straightforward profession of John's Christian faith. John has been nominated for Josie Music Awards 7 times for his songs and playing over the years, and he continues to write and release new material.
